Father Shenan Boquet, president of Human Life International, will lead this training, open to anyone who would like to attend.

Purpose: It is our mission to defend life. This training program is to further this mission along with our partners in the Respect Life ministry.

Theme: Dt 30:19 – I call heaven and earth today to witness against you:  I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Choose life, then, that you and your descendants may live.

1. Why do we need to defend life? What is the concept of pro-life?


2. Dealing with Catholics who espouse the culture of death.


3. Instructing the vulnerable and the future on emerging cultural and moral issues.


4. What Catholics should know about the proposed Constitutional amendment to enshrine abortion into the California Constitution.

Feast celebrating the Assumption of Mary. Church of the Assumption of Mary in Tomales invites you to celebrate our Parish feast day. The event begins at 9:30 when you can purchase breakfast food. At 11:15 AM we will have a religious procession from downtown Tomales to the Church, where Solemn Mass will begin at 12:00 PM. The fiesta will begin following the Mass and will feature food, drinks, rides for the Children, as well as a raffle. Come enjoy delicious food, music, comaraderie and help support our Parish!
