National Migration Week is an initiative of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. For nearly half a century, the Church in the United States has taken this annual opportunity to reflect on the circumstances confronting migrants, refugees, trafficked humans, and displaced persons, and to take action on their behalf. The theme for National Migration Week 2019 is “Building Communities of Welcome.” How do we engage migrants as community members, neighbors, and friends?
