Is there a Christian revival in Hollywood? What counts as a Catholic film, and why should we care? What should the Church do to begin to secure a place in the contemporary marketplace of ideas? Dr. Barbara Nicolosi will address these questions and more at her talk on April 21, held at Star of the Sea church in San Francisco. The event is sponsored by the Benedict XVI Institute, co-sponsored by the parish. There is a $10 suggested offering; parking is free and all are welcome.
Dr. Nicolosi is a film writer, script consultant and founder of a Christian screenwriting program. She served as a consultant on the 2004 film
The Passion of the Christ. She teaches at Azusa Pacific Honors College, and is the president of Catharsis: The Story Lab, a mentorship and development program for visual storytellers.
