Mosaic TV on “Easter: The Resurrection of Jesus Christ”
5:30 a.m. KPIX television Channel 5, CBS Bay Area
“Some women from our group have astounded us:
they were at the tomb early in the morning
and did not find his body…”
So reported two disciples, about the crucified Jesus of Nazareth, to a stranger they encountered on the road to Emmaus. And since that first Easter morning, the world has remained astounded--intrigued, moved, inspired, sometimes confused or repelled--by this report of a God-man who was cruelly killed and rose again from the dead. The stranger on the road that morning turned out to be Jesus. Does He still say to us what He said to those confused disciples: “How foolish you are! How slow of heart to believe all that the prophets spoke! Was it not necessary that the Messiah should suffer these things and enter into his glory?”
On this episode of
