Blessing of the Christmas Lights

The Church of the Visitacion will be blessing Christmas lights after the 4:00 p.m. Vigil Mass.

Each year the Church of the Visitacion decorates the outside of the church and rectory with lights, including all the trees on the sidewalk. After the vigil mass for the 1st Sunday of Advent, the priest will lead everyone outside for the blessing. The lights are then turned on for the first time to welcome the Advent Season.
