Mosaic TV Show on Holy Week Liturgies, Music, and Art Is Online Now

by Archdiocese of San Francisco | Apr 12, 2017

Holy Week 2017 is April 9 through April 15.
Our latest broadcast, "A Walk through Holy Week," is here.

The final week in Jesus' life has been called “the central week in human history,” when God-become-man was betrayed, condemned, crucified, buried—and rose again. The Catholic liturgies of this week are the most profound and significant of the Church year, and Christ’s Last Supper, Passion, Death, and Resurrection have inspired art and music of incomparable beauty and matchless depth.

The guest on April’s Mosaic program is Laura Bertone, Director of the Office of Worship for the archdiocese, who will discuss the events, themes, and liturgies of Holy Week and their culmination in Easter.  Several recent episodes of Mosaic are viewable on the Mosaic TV page.
