Archbishop's Pastoral Visits

Visiting his parishioners is a primary responsibility for a bishop, and is a favorite of Archbishop Cordileone's. Since his arrival in San Francisco, the archbishop has been making pastoral visits to all archdiocesan parishes and schools. These are typically two- to three-day visits, over a weekend, and can involve liturgy, preaching, social events, leadership meetings, and schoolroom visits.

“I enjoy getting out of my office into parishes and schools and I particularly enjoy the two-way experience of personal interactions with the faithful of the archdiocese,” the Archbishop has said.

Listed below are the parishes and schools Archbishop Cordileone has visited to date.
